How to feel like you have won an Oscar, without having to act
So… It’s been a while! How are you, all?
There’s absolute no excuse for the silence other than to be honest and say how much I’ve missed you whilst taking some time away from our blogs, newsletters and LIVE’s for meetings & projects on how we plan to develop the wonderful community of Be Bold Be You. With the pandemic now nothing but conversations of “do you remember when...” at the school gates and supermarket checkouts it’s been time to start listening to the wisdom around us & start pursuing the dreams.
We’re not young enough to know everything but we are lucky enough to meet so many with the aim of life being self development and many choose to live with no excuses and enjoy their life.
I’m a massive believer that sunshine is important for wellbeing and as we finally are able to enjoy the brighter days I look forward to welcoming more and more through our studio doors to experience Be Bold Be You and regain love in their heart for themselves… Society only exists as a concept; in the real world there are only individuals and it is an absolute joy to see individuals realise that to love yourself is the beginning of a lifelong romance that you are fully entitled to.
So, how exactly do I plan to help individuals feel like they’ve won an Oscar without even having to act? It takes a great deal of courage to see the world and it brings me such joy to see more & more want to embrace the philosophy of Be Bold Be You and also those who want to embrace who they want to be with a Boudoir photoshoot. Our popular boudoir photography experience is here to stay and this will never ever change. What we have been working on (really hard!) is to extend the ethos of Be Bold Be You so those who may not be ready for a Boudoir moment can still enjoy the ethos we base our work on… Let’s face it, there are other ways to embrace the Arts and it’s something I am really passionate about as my background in education, theatre and now photography has made my so lucky to be able to see how it can support & help so many. Art should never be popular. The public should try to make itself artistic and when we can offer different art forms, many people are able to express & (re)gain self confidence that they are so, so entitled to.
Art isn’t just about a camera and I hope that the projects & plans for the next 18 months will make Be Bold Be You accessible to so many more in our community, across the Midlands and give opportunities for individuals to experience self expression and experience positive self esteem which they can wear on their sleeve with pride.
Let’s go Wild(e)!
PS. How many Oscar Wilde quotes can you spot in this blog? All will be revealed very soon!
