The three tiers, with Be Bold Be You

On 12 October 2020, the UK government announced it was introducing a three tier system within England with regards to covid-19 restrictions. Following the second lockdown, and the entry of tier 3 from 3 December 2020 we’re able to inform you of the wonderful news that your experience will not be affected. Due to being classed as a “retail” business, and due to close contact services including hairdressers and beauty salons being allowed to remain open, we are still able to operate. As an independent, family run, business we’ve made the decision to only photograph one session a day. Not only does this give you exclusivity of the studio, it ensures that we are able to keep all of our clients, as well as our own family, safe and keep to a strict cleaning regime within the studio. Quite frankly, as our only clients of the day, we will just be able to focus on you.

Unless the guidelines change (and this blog was updates on 26 November 2020 at 18:00hrs) we will be working alongside the three tiered structure to ensure all of our clients are safe, as well as our own family. Since we opened, in July 2020, we have been texting clients before their appointments asking them to confirm that they have not been in contact with anyone who is suspected of covid-19 or has had a positive result. We ask for our covid-19 guidelines to be read, and e-signed, before the day of a client’s shoot so everyone knows what we’re doing to keep both you, us and future clients safe. We also check temperatures of our clients on arrival and if it shows as 37.7 degrees or higher we will reschedule the appointment for another time. If for any reason these guidelines change, and we’re unable to go ahead with your experience, we will follow our own covid-19 guidelines and automatically move your experience on a month, to the nearest day available, and give you a call.

We appreciate that we are not a high traffic, retail, area however we feel that this is an absolute advantage for you, our clients, as we’re able to offer you the same level of service you expect from us whilst feel safe with the knowledge that you know you won’t have to endure crowds within the same space.

If you have any questions then please ask me them! I’d much prefer for you to ask all the questions in the world then feel apprehensive in the run up to your appointment. See you soon! Kirsty
